Project Overview
This addition created new exhibit space featuring an immersive exhibit area for exploring ocean phenomena and the many ways societies depend on the World Ocean. The centerpiece is NOAA Science on a Sphere (SOS)®—a six-foot interactive global display providing technological visualization of atmospheric, oceanic, and continental features. The space was designed with potential for future conversion to an occupied dining patio. Steel frame construction with concrete over metal deck roof.
