Project Overview

This sophisticated biotech facility upgrade represented Phase 2 of an extensive 12-phase modernization program for Baxter's Highland Division. The work involved creating new refrigerated clean rooms meeting stringent pharmaceutical manufacturing standards, along with the relocation and precise installation of sensitive biotech equipment. A significant engineering challenge was performing extensive structural steel fabrications within the constraints of an existing historic wooden bowstring truss structure—requiring careful coordination to maintain the building's structural integrity while integrating modern clean room infrastructure. The project demonstrated TG Construction's capability to execute precision biotech/pharmaceutical work while respecting historic building preservation requirements.
